CDL and CDLINFO are now on Twitter!

CDL has joined many of our colleague and partner institutions, like UC Riverside Libraries, UCSF Libraries, UC Press, Internet Archive, Hathi Trust, OCLC, and many others in creating a Twitter account.

HathiTrust Update

Through the diligent efforts of a CDL and University of Michigan team, UC's Google-digitized books are now flowing into the HathiTrust repository, and ingest is progressing well.  At the time of this writing, the number of volumes available via the HathiTrust beta catalog is 136,125, and this number grows weekly.

Accountability Website is Launched

UC's May 09 Annual Accountability Report is now available online. The website provides a spotlight on accountability issues from President Yudof, an introduction to the report, and a discussion of key themes and trends.

SJSU Intern at the CDL

CDL welcomes intern Lisa Conrad. She will be working on a project to develop a method to measure the impact of CDL services beyond the straight usage statistics on our sites by using web analytics tools, analyzing social networking sites and possibly the use of toolbars and widgets.
