Oxford Bibliographies Move to Oxford Academic

Oxford Bibliographies Online (OBO) is moving to the Oxford Academic platform. Oxford Bibliographies will be available at Oxford Academic beginning May 7, 2026, and the previous platform will formally retire on May 21, 2026 at which point URLs will redirect. With access at the Oxford Academic platform, the OBOs will be cross-searchable with all of the other content at Oxford Academic, including books & journals. 

The new homepage for Oxford Bibliographies at Oxford Academic: https://academic.oup.com/oxford-bibliographies 

Similar to the new Oxford Research Encyclopedias design at Oxford Academic, the Oxford Bibliographies homepage will have a link to the individual Bibliographies under the “Bibliographies” link in the navigation. And similarly, the “subjects” link in the navigation will take users to resources about that subject from within any bibliography. 

Once at a specific Bibliography, the OBO branding is replaced by the standard Oxford Academic platform navigation. Users can navigate back to the Oxford Bibliographies section of the website by clicking on Collection: Oxford Bibliographies
