New Resources: Two from J-DAC

The University of California campuses now have access to two new databases at the J-DAC platform, with thanks to our lead tier 2 campus UC Berkeley for coordinating the purchase.

The two new resources included are:

Kahoku Kōtsu Kankei Shiryō 華北交通関係資料 (North China Railway Company Related Materials)
Access URL: https://j-dac.jp/kahokukotsu/

The North China Railway Company was established in China in 1939 during the Sino-Japanese War as a de facto subsidiary of the South Manchuria Railway Company (Mantetsu). This collection comprises wartime materials from the corporation and postwar materials from repatriation support organizations. This digital archive reproduces the original materials held by the Library of Economics, University of Tokyo.

Support for this purchase was generously covered by contributions from UC Berkeley, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, and Santa Baraba. All UC campuses have access.

Edogawa Ranpo “Harimaze nenpu” hoi 江戸川乱歩「貼雑年譜」補遺  (Supplement to Edogawa Ranpo Harimaze Nenpu: A Chronicle of His Life in Clippings)
