SEG Digital Library Moves to GeoScienceWorld

On December 1, 2025, the SEG Digital Library, from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, will migrate to the GeoScienceWorld (GSW) platform. Eight campuses have a current subscription through CDL: UCD, UCI, UCLA, UCM, UCR, UCSD, UCSB, and UCSC. 

The subscription maintained by these campuses is for SEG Digital Library Premium, and includes access to SEG journals, proceedings, books, and abstracts. All of this subscription material will be available exclusively now at the GSW platform beginning December 1st. 

Access to SEG materials will be found at the GeoScienceWorld platform: https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/seg 

URLs at all levels, including DOsI, from the current SEG platform (https://library.seg.org) will begin redirecting at that time.

User accounts at the old SEG platform will not migrate. If a user wishes to create a new personal account for saved searches at the GeoScienceWorld platform, they can follow these instructions.
