Taylor & Francis – New HSS Ebooks
The University of California has recently purchased a new set of ebooks from Taylor & Francis: a one time purchase of 18 selected subject collections from the 2024 HSS (humanities and social sciences) ebook series. These ebooks will be available to 9 UC campuses (all campuses except UCSF are included; and LBL is included with UC Berkeley). These 2024 HSS ebooks were funded centrally at no cost to campuses, and the purchase was negotiated as part of the new Taylor & Francis Transformative Agreement.

All of these ebooks are accessible at the Taylor & Francis platform: https://www.taylorfrancis.com/
Additionally, the STMnetbase/CRCnetbase package that the UCs have been purchasing annually has been committed to as part of a multiyear agreement covering the years 2024-2027. The order for the 2024 package has recently been finalized.
All of these ebooks should now be accessible at the Taylor & Francis platform. CDL staff are working through the set up and processing for these new ebook packages in the catalog.
More information about the new Taylor & Francis transformative agreement can be found at the UC OSC Blog.
