Highlights on Titles Cataloged for CDL-Managed Electronic Collections in January 2023

Highlights on Other Activities:

  • In addition to cataloging collections with ongoing new content, SCP staff are also working with ERT on several collections’ reconciliation processes, such as JSTOR DDA, Springer 2021 eBooks, Taylor & Francis ebooks, etc.; as well as continuing with full-level cataloging by title for Gerritsen Women’s History Collection of Aletta H. Jacobs (4,500+ titles).
  • New titles/content have been added to several Japanese collections, thanks to the assistance from Naomi Shiraishi, Japanese cataloging librarian at UCB: 
    • J-DAC: 2 titles (性風俗稀少雑誌コレクション = Seifūzoku kishō zasshi korekushon; 日本心靈 = Nihon shinrei)
    • KinoDen (Kinokuniya Digital Library): 26
    • Maruzen: 46 titles
    • ARL Statistics: Several SCP/ERT staff members have worked on compiling 2021-2022 ARL statistics on CDL-managed ebooks for campuses. It’s the first time we have used Alma Analytic reports for ARL statistics. This is the  total number of unique titles in collections that have bib-level portfolios, including MARCIVE (199,143 titles/213,179 portfolios) as part of open access eMonographs. It doesn’t include collections with access provided at database level or via CDI.
