Monica Westin moves to Google

Monica Westin, Publications & Engagement Manager in CDL’s Publishing & Special Collections unit, has accepted the role of Program Manager, Global Partnerships, at Google Scholar. In addition to the opportunities this role offers, Monica will be able to take advantage of Google’s global office locations to spend more time with her family in Sweden and Norway.

During her time at the CDL Monica has contributed significantly to the work of enhancing eScholarship publishing services and was also a co-author of the Library Publishing Coalition’s first ethical framework, published in July 2018.  All of us at CDL’s Publishing & Special Collections Team appreciate her hard work and wish her the best in this exciting next step in her career!
