Music Index Online moves to EBSCOhost on March 1, 2010

EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO) has acquired The Music Index Online™ from Harmonie Park Press, and access to this resource via the Harmonie Park Press platform will end on February 28, 2010.
The Music Index Online is currently available on the EBSCOhost® platform. The acquisition allows EBSCO to enhance the database while continuing to offer libraries a comprehensive package of music databases. Currently, UC-licensed resources RILM Abstracts of Music Literature, RIPM Retrospective Index to Music Periodicals, and RISM Series A/II: Music Manuscripts after 1600 are also available on the EBSCOhost platform.
The following 7 campuses participate in the Music Index Online license and are affected by this platform change: Berkeley, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz.

On March 1, the existing PID will change automatically to be directed to the EBSCOhost URL for the database: http://uclibs.org/PID/1386.
