Resource Cancellations: Applied Science & Technology; Essay & General Literature Index; Book Review Digest

The following UC subscriptions will be cancelled as of July 1 as a result of a systemwide review of Tier 1 & Tier 2 resources.  The resources are:

Applied Science & Technology Full Text on the WilsonWeb Platform
This resource indexes over 400 English language journals, magazines, and trade publications covering research in aeronautics, civil engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, fire and fire prevention, mathematics, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, robotics, space science, and textiles.

Essay & General Literature Index on the SilverPlatter Platform
This resource indexes essays found in over 5,300 volumes, annuals and serial publications from the United States, Great Britain, and Canada.  It focuses on the humanities and social sciences, with coverage of economics, political science, history, and literary and film criticism.

Book Review Digest on the SilverPlatter Platform
This resource indexes book reviews of English-language fiction and nonfiction books for children and adults, from over 8,000 leading magazines from the United States, Canada, and Great Britain.  Includes several thousand full text reviews.

Concerns should be addressed to campus selectors of reference resources.  Local campuses may have already licensed or relicensed these resources from other vendors.
