The Calisphere’s California Cultures (http://www.calisphere.universityofcalifornia.edu/calcultures/) web site has been redesigned.

For each of the ethnic groups (African, Asian, Hispanic and Native Americans) you will now find 3-5 historical topics; each topic includes a selection of 20-50 representative images and documents and historical context. In addition, each ethnic group includes browse terms as a way for users to easily access the content.

California Cultures was originally a grant funded project in which UC campuses participated and contributed over 20,000 items. The site provides access to the original grant-funded content as well as to existing and new content related to African, Asian, Hispanic, and Native Americans.
