In January, CDL posted an update regarding cancellations as of January 1, 2026. These resources listed below are additional resources that have been cancelled.

- RLG Reference Resource Package. Access will end 7/1/2026. Access included all UC campuses. RLG included several databases:

- Chicano Database

- Index to Nineteenth-Century American Art Periodicals
- Library Literature & Information Science Full Text. Access will end 9/1/2026. Campuses included: UCLA, UCM, UCSB, UCSC, UCSD, and UCSF.
Additional Information:
- GeoRef (ProQuest): The UC subscription to GeoRef has reduced the number of campuses with access. From January 1, 2026, the remaining subscribing campuses include: UCB (+LBL), UCLA, UCR, and UCSB.
- When the NOW journal package was cancelled as of January 1, 2026, campuses activated their perpetual rights in their Alma IZs. Around the same time, NOW journal access migrated to the Emerald platform: https://www.emerald.com/ after Emerald acquired NOW Publishers earlier in 2025 (see announcement). All Emerald Journals can be viewed at an A-Z title list at this page, while they also offer a landing page for the Foundations & Trends titles here.
CDL will continue to share information to the campuses through CDLinfo, SCLG, email announcements, and other channels about any future cancellations. Additional details about these cancellations have been shared with SCLG member representatives. Please feel free to reach out to your SCLG representative or CDL with any questions about Tier 1 and Tier 2 cancellations.
