New Presses at De Gruyter and De Gruyter Brill Merger

New ebook packages at De Gruyter

The UCs have recently purchased titles from several University Presses at De Gruyter, which are new for systemwide access. These collections were purchased on behalf of all 10 UC campuses:

University of Chicago Press ebooks 2024 & 2025 
Edinburgh University Press ebooks 2025 
Stanford University Press ebooks 2025

De Gruyter & Brill Merger

Users may have already heard about the De Gruyter and Brill companies merging, which was announced in 2024 – and now, beginning April 3, 2025, the De Gruyter website transitioned to a new platform. 

The new De Gruyter Brill platform URL is: https://www.degruyterbrill.com/  

Resources at the previous De Gruyter website (http://degruyter.com/) now redirect. 

Resources at Brill.com remain unaffected, and the Brill.com website will remain active for at least two more years through 2027.  However, Brill books (excluding other Brill resources) are now additionally discoverable at the new De Gruyter Brill platform. De Gruyter Brill has stated that their immediate focus is launching & developing the new De Gruyter Brill platform before migrating additional content to degruyterbrill.com.
