New Collections added and activated:

Recent Transitions

  • CDL is beginning to work on the transition of the Proquest History Vault titles to the main Proquest platform.
  • Beginning August 1, 2024, Artstor is now fully available on the JSTOR platform, and the old Artstor platform is retired. (More information)

Highlights on Open Access

  • London times index, 1906-1980 (Local-OA): was activated and cataloged in July
  • University of Chicago Press Open Access: was activated from the CZ in August
  • Libros UNAM: Open Access: Individual title level cataloging is in progress
  • Cataloged 20 individual open access journals in August

Highlights on Other Activities:

  • The Head of CDL Shared Cataloging Program position was opened on August 2, 2024. The screening committee will review applications beginning on September 4, 2024.
  • JSTOR DDA Transition Update: The JSTOR DDA management has transitioned from JSTOR to GOBI on July 31. Transition reconciliation is almost done; SCP started to review and process the new weekly reports and files. SCP will update our workflow as appropriate. CDL ERT has been communicating with GOBI on resolving some outstanding issues.
  • Taylor & Francis Journals: As of August 15th Taylor & Francis has updated CDL access in accordance with our pending agreement.CDL ERT has updated portfolio coverage dates in the Network Zone to end with 2023 for titles no longer in our agreement, future updates may be needed to the coverage as well.
  • Cambridge eBook records: Cambridge resumed providing records in mid-August 2024. SCP has received records and added them to the Alma Network Zone after their delay due to Cambridge University Press’s cybersecurity incident.
