New Collections added and activated
Duke University Press ebooks 2026 (access at De Gruyter) have been added to the catalog.
MIT Press D2O 2026 Complete Monographs (open access titles) and the 2026 Trade collection (restricted titles) have been activated in the catalog.
Highlights on Open Access
A new OA collection (Institute of Southeast Asian Studies) has been added. It consists of 410 titles and was activated in Worldshare Collection Manager (WCM). New titles will be added to Alma as soon as they’re available through WCM. This collection includes the series, Trends in Southeast Asia that was requested by UCLA.
CDL has activated the open access ebooks from the International Water Association (IWA). This adds to UC’s access of the S2O journal package and associated term access to their 2002-2025 ebooks the UCs were recently given access to. IWA Publishing focuses on promoting collections around water and environmental resources, and improving global health.
The following public note has been added to the Free E- Journals collection. “Direct article linking is not available for most free e-journals. You may have to navigate to the desired article.”
Highlights on other activities
Mary Ann Liebert (MAL) was acquired by Sage. The MAL archive collection has been updated with Sage links, and CDL is monitoring the collections for further updates. See this CDLinfo article for more information about the platform migration.
The Japan Digital Archives Center (J-DAC) collection has two, new titles (see the CDLinfo post for more information).
