Celebrating Member Contributions: New Members Send Files as Part of Call for Unarchived Holdings

At the beginning of September, we invited all WEST Members to submit files of MARC bibliographic and holdings data for your print serials collections to seed our next collections analysis and make comparison data available to all WEST members. 

This year, we are very pleased to announce that 4 new WEST members have submitted files: Colorado College, The Illinois Institute of Technology Galvin Library, The Newberry Library, and Southern Illinois University School of Medicine!

In addition to our new members, we also had one continuing member contribute unarchived holdings for the first time this year: Colorado Mesa University!

All WEST Members are invited to participate in the collections analysis to continue the success of our work identifying journals that have previously been overlooked for archiving and ensure they continue to be available for students and scholars into the future. 

More participating members means we can form a more complete view of the breadth of WEST member holdings when conducting our collections analysis, and more comparison data will be available to WEST members through the On Demand Comparison and Analytic reports.
