The SCP Update is a compilation of the collaborative efforts of CDL Acquisitions, the Shared Cataloging Program, the Electronic Resource Services Manager and other members of Shared Collections and the California Digital Library.

Recent Transitions

ASTM Digital Library has moved to a new platform (CDLinfo article).
Airiti ebooks has upgraded their platform (CDLinfo article).
Oxford History of Western Music has moved to Oxford Academic (CDLinfo article).

New Collections added and activated

Oxford Scholarship Online 2022 books have been loaded into the NZ. OSO 2022 covers all subjects, and titles published between Oct 2021-Sept 2022. It was purchased to gap-fill at the same time the OSO 2026 titles were purchased.
Newsbank Access World News has been upgraded, and the NZ holdings have been cleaned up to reflect the new package. See the CDLinfo article for more information.
ACM Book Collection 3 was added to the NZ

Highlights on Open Access

The new CZ collection for Torrossa ebooks has been activated, with many more titles than the previous collection.

Highlights on other activities

The UCs subscribe to the Sage Premier package. In 2025, Sage acquired the IOS Press journals, which entered the Sage Premier collection and these holdings were added to the NZ.
