What’s new in the public domain?

All HathiTrust volumes published in 1929 are now open full view access to users in the United States thanks to the 2025 public domain expansion. We have selected some special titles to share with you, see: Mining the Zeitgeist of 1929 to Celebrate the 2025 Public Domain Expansion in HathiTrust

There is gold in California!

In 2018, CDL collaborated with government information librarians from four California libraries to digitize and open for worldwide access thousands of historical California Legislative Publications that were contributed to HathiTrust. Since then, 300 additional volumes have been added to the collection.
