Webinar: Yale’s AI Summarization Tool Turbocharges Library Research

Yale’s Digital Collections AI  can summarize and answer questions about all kinds of digitized material –  a book, a handwritten journal, materials in major European languages and much more.   For a researcher searching through a heap of digital material to find what’s really worth reading, the time savings this system provides are game changing.

This is still an experimental system but the possibilities for it are obvious.  That’s why the California Digital Library is happy to host a talk by the lead on this project, Michael Appleby.  Mr Appleby is the Director of Software Engineering for Yale Library IT.  His own experiences as a Yale graduate student led him to develop this tool.
