Highlights on Other Activities:

  • Cleanup for SCP records with physical formats. Back in July, while pulling annual
    statistics, we found a small group of records with physical formats including MARCIVE
    records. After cleanup of all SCP records, SCP also cleaned up MARCIVE records after
    consulting the RM-CMOS group, and sent a small list of titles with campuses’ holdings
    attached to the RM members for cleanup at the campus level. Thanks to Kate GarveyClasby for getting this task done.
  • Listserv SCPSYS-L@LISTSERV.UCOP.EDU. This list was used before SILS migration
    for SCP to communicate with UC campus system liaisons regarding file distributions that
    SCP sent to campuses. With the current Alma system, the need to use this listserv no
    longer exists. After consulting with SCP-AC members, SCP will deactivate this listserv.
    We will continue to communicate SCP related business via SCP Advisory Committee
    members and their listserv SCPAC-L@LISTSERV.UCOP.EDU.
  • SCP webpage campus contacts related to SCP activities. SCP has been maintaining
    campus contact information for three groups: campus SCP-AC representatives, campus
    system liaison list, and campus proxy contacts. Similar to the reason above, the need to
    maintain campus system liaisons no longer exists. The list of campus SCP-AC
    representatives can be found on its own website. CDL ERT maintains a list of campus proxy contacts. After consulting SCP-AC members, we will retire this webpage:
