Farewell to Bobbi Perkins-Hill

Please join the California Digital Library (CDL) in extending best wishes and a lot of appreciation to Bobbi Perkins-Hill, who is retiring at the end of June.

Bobbi came to UC in June 1999, and she worked as a TOP’s employee until June 2000. She became the Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director of UC’s three Laboratories and worked in the Laboratory Management Operations department until April 2007 when she transferred to CDL.

In 16+ years, Bobbi has been a valued and experienced member of the finance team while supporting projects for D2D, and PAD, especially projects for WEST, Google, Amazon, HathiTrust, etc. She also assisted other programs and projects as a backup. Bobbi’s retirement is our loss, but a well-deserved respite for her. She will be greatly missed by CDL employees, UCOP staff, and campus partners because she has guided CDL’ers through UCOP business processes with patience and kindness.

Bobbi’s last day is Thursday, June 29. CDL will celebrate her many contributions at a coffee social on June 27.
