Congratulations and Farewell to Brian David

Please join me in offering a warm congratulations to our wonderful CDL colleague, Brian David, who has accepted a position as an accessibility subject matter expert with Wells Fargo, beginning June 2021. At Wells Fargo, Brian’s work will focus on ensuring that applications and websites are designed and developed to be accessible to people of all abilities. 

Brian joined the CDL in late 2018 as an Information Services analyst and quickly established himself as a valued colleague and resource to staff from across the UC Libraries. From the start, Brian’s outstanding technical, communication, and troubleshooting skills allowed him to build a foundation of expertise essential to his success at CDL. Before joining CDL, Brian spent 3+ years at bepress as a consultant and team manager.    

Brian will be sorely missed, though there is some comfort in knowing that his new offices will be in downtown Oakland, just a few blocks from CDL’s future home on Broadway. Brian’s final day with CDL will be May 28th. Thank you, Brian, for your many contributions to CDL!
