SCP Cataloging Delays During SILS Test Load Environment
Between March 1 and the date of SCP’s last weekly file distribution (which is still to be determined), SCP will have a significant reduction of batch cataloging and will shift its focus to workflow testing in the SILS test load environment. As a result, there will be a delay in providing catalog records for many eBook collections for approximately two quarterly cycles, March-July 2021. During this interim period, all content will be available on all platforms. Post-migration, all content will be accessible further via Alma/Primo VE via SFX/360 and partial SCP data migration, and Alma Community Zone activation.
Below is a list of eBook collections and packages that will be affected by these delays. Cataloging of these resources will be suspended during the SILS test period. Please take note of these resources and we kindly ask that you do not send inquiries to the CDL Helpline about these specific collections/packages.
Also listed below are collections and packages that will continue to be cataloged and will not be affected by the testing. A special note about serials and Chinese e-resources (books and serials): these may have some delay but will not stop until SCP’s last weekly file distribution.
