Preview of new Web of Science interface

The UC Libraries will soon have access to a preview of the new interface for the Web of Science platform. Beginning in mid-November, look for a message highlighted in purple in the top right corner of the screen, you may “Click here to access the preview”. We encourage you to explore the new system and send any comments through the feedback options.

Information about the changes and updates to this preview version will be provided as follows:

• Release notes are available at: https://clarivate.com/webofsciencegroup/release-notes/wos/
• Notices within the new Web of Science will alert users to updates, new features, and will link to user feedback
• Users can also join a Google group for updates on development at: https://groups.google.com/g/newwos

The timeline for transition is as follows:

• Between Fall 2020 – Spring 2021: Dual access to both versions with the Classic Web of Science as default
• Between April-June 2021, the default interface will be the New Web of Science, with Classic still accessible
• Between Oct-Dec 2021, the Classic Web of Science interface will be retired
