Registration is now open for this year’s Print Archive Network (PAN) Forum, which will take place virtually on June 26, 2020, from 12-3pm PT / 2-5pm CT. The PAN Forum will include updates from various shared print programs and initiatives, followed by two panel discussions:

  • Pushing Past the Pandemic: JSTOR, Digitization, and Shared Print, moderated by WEST Program Manager Alison Wohlers, will provide an overview and status update on local JSTOR archives at UC SRLF, University of Washington, Harvard University, and the Center for Research Libraries, as well as a discussion around the print-digital connection and future possibilities at JSTOR. WEST representatives Cathy Martyniak (UC SRLF) and Sion Romaine (University of Washington) will participate on this panel.
  • Digital Availability, moderated by WEST representative Lorrie McAllister of Arizona State University, will discuss the print/digital connection. WEST representative Kerry Scott of UC Santa Cruz will also participate.

Additionally, Alison Wohlers will be presenting an update on the status of the shared print infrastructure project that the California Digital Library is undertaking in collaboration with the Center for Research Libraries and HathiTrust to explore ways to enhance and support shared print initiatives.
