WEST Representatives Attend Rosemont Shared Print Alliance In-person Meeting

On November 3rd, WEST representatives from the WEST Executive Committee, supported by the WEST Project Team, traveled to Rosemont, Illinois to take part in an in-person strategic meeting of the Rosemont Shared Print Alliance. WEST’s representatives on the Rosemont Executive Committee include: Mimi Calter (Stanford), Jay Starratt (WSU), and Beth McNeil (Iowa State University). Supporting them during the in-person meeting were Emily Stambaugh, WEST Program Officer, Ivy Anderson, WEST Administrative Host Representative, and Alison Wohlers, WEST Collections Analyst.

The Rosemont Executive Committee, with the support of its Operations Committee, considered and discussed a range of issues during the in-person meeting, including an invitation to the Eastern Academic Scholars’ Trust (EAST) to join the Alliance, Rosemont Access Principles, last copy policy development, and next steps to accomplishing the Alliance’s strategic directions as outlined in the road map. The Executive Committee approved the drafted Access Principles for distribution to and feedback from regional program governance groups, and also passed a resolution honoring Emily Stambaugh for her many contributions to shared print and the realization of the Rosemont Shared Print  Alliance.
