OCLC’s Vision and Services to Support the Collective Collection

In August, OCLC’s President and CEO, Skip Prichard, announced OCLC’s vision for supporting the Collective Collection. This will include support for shared print services. For more details, please watch this video (5 minutes).

More recently, OCLC’s Vice President of Global Product Management, Mary Sauer-Games, published a blog post on the OCLC website, further affirming OCLC’s vision to bring together, “the best tools, technology, and talent to provide a new approach for building and managing libraries’ collective collection.”

This is an exciting step forward in the shared print community and we look forward to the continued development of OCLC support!
