Web of Science Citation Map is gone for now

The Citation Map functionality in Web of Science is no longer available due to technology compatibility issues and reliance on browser support of Java. According to our Clarivate Analytics representative, Clarivate is investigating supporting this functionality but at the present time does not have an ETA for the replacement feature.

Previously, Web of Science on the Thomson Reuters platform included a Citation Map feature that allowed users to map citations by author, institution, country, subject, and more to visualize connections at a glance, discover wider relationships and to change map appearance to emphasize important relationships.

Clarivate Analytics recognizes the importance of this type of mapping for researchers and will pursue re-enabling this functionality on their platform.
