New Tier 2 Licensed Resource – Late Qing Dynasty Periodical Full Text Database (1833-1911)

Six campuses (Berkeley, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz) are participating in the Tier 2 license of the Late Qing Dynasty Periodical Full Text Database (1833-1911).

Produced by Shanghai Library, the database contains over 300 titles of Chinese periodicals published during 1833-1911. From a wide range of subjects, these were among the earliest journal publications in Chinese.
