Staff in Print – Sherri Berger and Catherine Mitchell

CDL’s Sherri Berger and Catherine Mitchell of the Access & Publishing group have contributed a chapter to Shared Collections: Collaborative Stewardship (An ALCTS Monograph), edited by Dawn Hale.  Their chapter is entitled “Give Them What They Need: Rethinking Management, Aggregation, and Access for Digital Collections at the University of California”.  It describes the UC Libraries Digital Collection Project, which was the two-year project to implement a shared digital asset management system for the UC Libraries, overhaul CDL’s infrastructure for aggregating digital collections statewide, and redesign the Calisphere website.
