CDL Welcomes Stephanie Simms!
Meet Stephanie Simms, CDL’s new DMPTool service manager and UC3 Research Data Specialist. Stephanie spent the past ten months at the UCLA Charles E. Young Research Library as a CLIR Postdoctoral Fellow where she worked on a range of digital and research data management projects. Before then she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Field Archaeology at Boston University. She has more than 10 years of experience designing and implementing social science research in collaboration with culturally diverse teams composed of researchers, students, and rural indigenous populations in Latin America. Stephanie earned her Ph.D. in Archaeology from Boston University and a B.A. in Classical Civilization from UCLA. She is a native Californian and is thrilled to be living and working in the Bay Area.
