You don’t need to know how web archives work in order to build one, but sometimes it helps to understand what’s going on behind the scenes.  We’ll look at the basics of how the web crawler works, how archives are organized, and how public access works.  This session will help you understand why you get certain capture results, and may help you make more efficient capture setting choices.
