UC-eLinks upgrades to SFX version 4

UC-eLinks was upgraded to Ex Libris’ SFX version 4 software on March 31, 2011. This upgrade focused on the back-end admin module, so end-users will not see any visible change.  The UC-eLinks liaisons that update UC-eLinks locally at their campus will see some changes to the SFX Admin Center interface. CDL’s UC-eLinks team will offer a webinar for the UC-eLinks liaisons to introduce them to the new features and answer questions in the coming weeks.

What’s notable in this version? In version 4, the SFX knowledgebase updates increased in frequency from monthly to weekly. This means new and updated titles will be available for inclusion in UC-eLinks more frequently.
