Suggestions for Linking into CDL Web Sites

Significant changes to CDL web sites will occur in August 2003. On August 1, Melvyl-T will become Melvyl, the legacy Melvyl service will be turned off, and users will be redirected to the new ALEPH system.  Later in August, the CDL web site (http://www.cdlib.org/) will re-launch.

In conjunction with these changes, CDL has developed “Suggestions for linking into CDL web-based services” <“http://www.cdlib.org/libstaff/system_services/projects/suggestions4linking.rtf”>.  These guidelines provide suggested link text, descriptions, and preferred URLs for those who wish to link into:
–CDL services for patrons or
–Web sites that provide information about the CDL

If you maintain links into CDL web sites, please consult these guidelines and revise your links accordingly.
