SilverLinker Coverage by Database and by Publisher
SilverLinker enables direct access from SilverPlatter’s bibliographic citation databases to electronic journals and also to holdings information from the California Periodicals Database.
As reported earlier this year, CDL contracted with SilverPlatter to include SilverLinker for all campus accounts and SilverLinker has been added to all UC Library accounts with SilverPlatter (SP). Campus staff do not need to do anything special to activate SilverLinker.
Some SilverPlatter databases have not yet been enabled for SilverLinker. Not all of the e-journals that UC subscribes to have SilverLinker links. SilverPlatter has enabled SilverLinker for the databases listed below. You should see links to the electronic journals when reviewing your search results in these databases. If the database is not on the list, you will not see SilverLinker links. SP is actively working on adding SilverLinker to additional databases; they plan to provide SilverLinker access in all databases.
