Welcome to Andrew Robinson!

Andrew will be joining the User Experience (UX) team as our new UX designer. He will be working closely with the UX and Web Production teams on a variety of UX projects. He will also be working with CDL programs and services to provide UX expertise in user research and design. 

Andrew graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Russian Language and Culture. He spent the next four years pursuing his love for education, foreign languages and cultures in Germany where he taught English as a second language. Before returning to the United States, he entered the world of UX by earning a certificate in UX Design. Andrew has a strong foundation in integrating user research methods with a user-centered design process. He has expertise and knowledge with component and responsive design. Most recently he worked as a UX Designer for a local community-focused startup where he was involved in all stages of the design process while helping shape the direction of the company and product.

Andrew lives in San Francisco and will be working a hybrid schedule with the team in the Oakland office. In his free time, Andrew enjoys reading works of fiction, history, and politics, improving his foreign language skills, and hiking with his wife, Victoria.
