New Value of WEST and Member Communication Resources Available
As part of WEST’s continued efforts to support member communication about the goals and value of WEST, a new suite of documents are now available for members to use both internally and externally when discussing WEST and shared print initiatives. Included is a single-page brief introduction to shared print and collective collections (drafted by the Partnership-Rosemont Alliance Joint Advocacy Working Group) and a new Value of WEST infographic that provides a brief and engaging overview of WEST and its main program goals. Additionally, four single-page info briefs are available that look at WEST and shared print through the lens of different library functions, including administration, collection management, technical services, and resource sharing. Members are encouraged to make these materials available as appropriate to both internal and external stakeholders to support understanding about the WEST program, and the values and goals of shared print both regionally and nationally.
