SCP Monthly Update–October 2018

SCP has posted the distribution statistics report for the month of September. This monthly report shows net increase or decrease of titles from CDL licensed and selected open access collections. For serials distributions, SCP continued to focus on the major additions, withdrawals, and embargo changes for journal titles in all the EBSCOhost databases. The changes for August were  138 new titles added (Academic search complete 133 titles).  Other highlights were: JSTOR online journals (51 titles) and Open Access Journals (57 titles, includes DOAJ, 12 titles).

For monographs, our major record distributions were: Elsevier monographs (125 titles, new titles added to 24 sub-set collections by subjects), IEEE Xplore online conference proceedings (107 titles), JSTOR online monographs (88 titles), Knovel Library online monographs  (260 titles), Morgan & Claypool monographs (47 titles, Life Sciences Colloquium 4 5 titles; Synthesis Collection 8 42 titles), Open access monographs (605 titles: JSTOR online monographs 556 titles, National Academies Press 45 titles), Sage Research Methods. Books & reference collection online monographs (73 titles), SpringerLink monographs (460 titles, includes: Biomedical and life sciences  43 titles, Computer science 127 titles, Economics and finance monographs 43 titles, and titles added to 14 other subsets), Wiley online monographs (97 titles), Airiti monographs (439 titles), and Apabi online monographs. Reference works (65 titles).

DDA programs with number changed as of today: Airiti DDA (3,417 discovery records + 626 purchased titles), and JSTOR CDL DDA pilot (4,127 discovery records + 588 purchased titles). DDA Programs with no change: CNPeReading CDL DDA online monographs (4,300 discovery records + 34 purchased titles), CRC Press ENGnetBASE online monographs 407 purchased titles (2013 package (105 titles), 2014 package (64 titles), 2015 package (134 titles), and 2016 package (104 titles)), EBSCO Japanese DDA 466 purchased titles, and YBP/Ebrary online monographs via ProQuest 665 purchased titles.

Please note:  Some of the Shared Cataloging Program records you receive may be the result of a batch cataloging process.  They may not meet the standards for full-level records.
