CDL joins ICOLC Opposing the MLA International Bibliography Exclusivity with EBSCO

CDL recently signed on to the letter [PDF] prepared by the International Coalition of Library Consortia (ICOLC), concerning the MLA International Bibliography exclusivity with EBSCO.  On June 26, 2018, MLA announced that the MLA International Bibliography will be exclusively offered by EBSCO and discoverable solely via EBSCO Discovery Service effective January 1, 2019. Currently MLA International Bibliography is provided through several platforms and discovery services.  This decision by the MLA will limit access and discoverability of this resource. CDL and others at ICOLC are requesting that MLA reconsiders their decision, and will keep the UC community updated.
