HathiTrust Research Center (HTRC) Seeks Proposals from Scholars

The HathiTrust Research Center (HTRC) is seeking proposals from scholars interested in receiving advanced collaborative support to solve challenging problems related to computational analysis.

Who may submit proposals?

Individual scholars or teams of scholars from academic and non-profit institutions. At least 3 of the 4-6 winning proposals are reserved for scholars (or teams of scholars) from HathiTrust partner institutions.

What do awards include?

• Non-consumptive access to HathiTrust’s entire corpus of over 15 million volumes.  Approximately 60% of the corpus is under copyright and unavailable for text mining except via the HathiTrust Research Center.
• Access to dedicated HTRC staff to collaborate on the proposed project during the award period.

When are proposals due?

An electronic copy of the complete proposal must be submitted by 5:00 pm (Eastern Time Zone U.S.) on Monday, June 19, 2017.
