Partnership for Shared Book Collections Quarterly Report (April 2021) now available
The Partnership for Shared Book Collections has released their quarterly report for 2021Q1. The report includes a roundup of accomplishments the Partnership has achieved in the last three months, updates Partnership governance committee and working group areas of focus, and a preview of upcoming events hosted by the Partnership which members are encouraged to attend.
Major accomplishments include:
- Welcomed the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) as the newest member program
- Co-sponsored two webinars along with the Rosemont Shared Print Alliance on
Registering and Working with Shared Print in OCLC - Continued collaboration with the Rosemont Alliance for Shared Print with a focus on
communications and outreach - Begun to outline a Resources section of sharedprint.org to serve as a clearinghouse for
information on topics related to Shared Print, including hosting a Google discussion
group for all topics related to Shared Print, discussion@sharedprint.org - Wrote a letter of support for the ICOLC OCLC Task Force outlining concerns and strategic
needs of the monograph shared print community - Formed a Research Agenda group to prioritize areas of interest
- Continues to work closely with the CCH initiative to reach our shared goals while
avoiding duplication of effort
