Responsibilities
Devin supports Open Access policies through database work, data reporting/visualization, and application programming (Python, SQL, etc). He works primarily on the Lawrence Berkeley Lab’s relationship with the Dept. of Energy’s Office of Scientific and Technical Information.

Background
Devin worked as a studio composer/producer for a few years out of college, scoring TV ads and a few small films. From 2010-2016, he was the Lead Content Producer at the music app company Smule (makers of “Sing! Karaoke” and “Magic Piano”). From 2019-2022, he was a bookseller with Green Apple, the best book store in San Francisco.
He works with the Prelinger Library as a host and a designer of their idiosyncratic discovery service. He occasionally writes feature articles about the history of housing development (and its legislation) for the San Francisco Apartment Association Magazine, and creates online tools for creatives.
