Address and Building Access
The California Digital Library is located on the second and fourth floors of the Oakland Scientific Facility, a high-security building. In order to gain access to the building, you must first arrange with a member of the CDL to register your name with the lobby security desk. Upon arrival, use the outside intercom to identify yourself to the security guard. You will then be allowed to enter the building, sign in at the security desk, and proceed to the second or fourth floor.

By Car
Several parking lots are within a short walking distance of the building. The closest lot is on the same block as the CDL at 410 19th Street (there is also an entrance on Franklin Street). Expect to pay from $10 to $18 to park all day.
By Public Transportation
CDL is located across the street from a 19th Street BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Station exit. Visit the BART website for schedules and information.
