I am the service manager for the DMP Tool, a free, open-source application that helps researchers write Data Management Plans. In this role, my responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning for future directions of the tool and our posture towards data management planning more broadly
- Managing day-to-day operations of the DMP Tool, such as monitoring the service, responding to escalated support tickets, facilitating team meetings and rituals
- Conducting outreach about data management planning, sharing our experiences with the community and learning from others about advances in data management best practices
- Prioritizing features and development work for the work from a product perspective

Background
Before I joined CDL, I worked in the tech and video game industries. During graduate school, I completed user research internships at SuveyMonkey, PlayStation, and Google. After I graduated, I worked as both a user researcher and product manager at Scopely on the game Star Trek Fleet Command, and then as a technical product manager at Singularity 6 for the game Palia. I live in Los Angeles and work remotely from there with my husband and two cats.
