The DMP Tool is a free service that helps researchers and institutions create high-quality data management plans that meet funder requirements.
Why the DMP Tool?
Scholarly researchers today are increasingly required to engage in a range of data management activities to comply with institutional policies, or as a precondition for publication or grant funding. Data management plans are now a standard part of grant proposals for most funding agencies.
In response to these requirements, CDL has collaborated with various partners to develop the DMP Tool as an international, open source project. The DMP Tool primarily serves researchers, organizations, and funders in the US.
