PubMed
The new PubMed site will become the default on or after May 18, 2020. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) will run the legacy system in parallel for a short period of time after the new PubMed becomes the default. During this time, both sites will continue to receive updates to citation data. After a short time, the legacy PubMed site will be retired.
Important items of note:
- Saved searches and collections: Collections and saved searches are stored in your My NCBI account and will continue to be available in the new site.
- Legacy site links: Links to the legacy site will be redirected to the new site. The redirects will be persistent, so old links will not “break” — they will go to the new site once it becomes the default.
- The PubMed User Guide includes FAQs and documentation for the new site.
