WEST Welcomes New Member – CSU Bakersfield

WEST is very pleased to welcome a new member in 2019 – California State University, Bakersfield! Bakersfield is the tenth CSU campus to join WEST.

California State University institutions have long been valued members of the WEST program. Many of the other nine member CSU campuses have participated in WEST since its earliest days, contributing volumes to WEST archivers in order to build robust and complete runs, and serving as archivers in their own right. CSU Bakersfield joins WEST as a supporting member, and is already making use of WEST needs and offers tools to identify materials that might be contributed to strengthen the shared collection. Keep an eye out for gap-filling offers, archivers!
